Doodlebug Design is a scrapbook manufacturer of all things crafty with a wide offering of supplies including paper, stickers, ribbons and more. Their bursting inventory demanded that we intervene to create an efficient storage strategy.
Inspiring Better Storage Solutions for a Creative Industry
As a growing manufacturer that also sells their product wholesale, Doodlebug Design was in need of a specialized storage solution to keep their diverse inventory well organized, this would result in easier product identification for faster fulfillment. Doodlebug also wanted to improve their loading dock to help trucks access the loading zone quickly and safely.
Projects
Pallet Rack & Dock Leveler
To address Doodlebug's unique pallet rack needs, we installed adjustable racking that would accomodate a wide variety of sizes for a more customized solution. This flexible option allowed Doodlebug to store their smaller items on shorter, lower level racks and bulky pallets on the roomy upper racks. To increase safety at their unloading dock, we provided a pit leveler to manage uneven truck heights safely and efficiently.
Mezzanine & Modular Office
Because the warehouse was already tight on floor space, we decided the best route would be the installation of a mezzanine platform to offer an office and extended storage space with additional shelving.
