Rexnord's location in Salt Lake City is part of their power transmission division that supplies speed changers, drives and gears in the industrial, commercial machinery and computer equipment segments.
Gearing Up with the Right Storage
Rexnord Corp. was looking for better organization for managing their parts, tools and personal items, they also had various needs for shop equipment and needed some new products to get their facility running smoother and more efficiently.
Projects
Industrial Cabinets
We installed a total of (8) of our heavy-duty, welded storage cabinets for general storage utility. We also provided (5) computer cabinets for their workstations.
Dump Hoppers
We supplied Rexnord with .5 yard hoppers with casters so they could manage bulk volumes of materials and waste.
Stadium Lockers
We set up (4) of our high-performance stadium lockers that are ideal to store a variety of work gear and personal items for convenience.
Shop equipment organized around the work
Together, the cabinets, computer enclosures, mobile hoppers and employee lockers created dedicated storage points for several different workflows. The project reduced the need to mix tooling, production material, waste handling and personal storage in the same areas. Each product supports a specific task while contributing to a more orderly shop floor.
This coordinated approach is what makes shop equipment more valuable than a collection of stand-alone products. Storage is placed where the work occurs, frequently used items remain accessible, and lockable equipment helps protect tools and supplies between shifts.
