Ground-Breaking Storage Solutions
Watson Pharmaceutical is recognized for introducing successful, high-quality medications that are available worldwide. Watson's plans for a new facility in Salt Lake City would be an important milestone in continuing their dedicated research and manufacturing of effective medical products. The company was looking for extensive pallet rack systems to store their large inventory and enlisted our help in designing storage layouts geared to their specific needs.
Projects
Pallet Racking & DEA Cage
We provided a pallet rack system tailored to the nature of Watson's medical products. We installed 100 sections of pallet rack in one area with the addition of a 38’x 29’x 25’ floor to ceiling DEA cage, this would provide restricted access for keeping inventory secure.
Pallet Rack with Wire Guidance
In another area of the facility, we installed a larger pallet rack system consisting of 221 sections of racking and 26' Tall Uprights for unlimited storage potentional with 2,800 pallet positions. We further enforced the racks with 1500' linear ft. of wire guidance that was cut in for an extra layer of support.
