Where Pick Module is used
Palletized reserve storage, high-SKU warehouses, distribution operations and manufacturing inventory.
The endless versatility of a pick module enables users to take full control of choosing their racking components, with additions of conveyors and other flow parts to be implemented as needed. These multi-level rack systems are ideal for distribution centers by consolidating material handling and fulfillment processes for enhanced production and increased order accuracy. Order picking can be refined by combining the technologies of mezzanines, work platforms, conveyors and pallet flow racks with reducing walk times for order pickers, and less time spent on locating SKUs. Pick modules allow for exceptional storage density and space utilization that is achieved by using more vertical cube space. Pick module systems provide an optimal choice for fast-paced, high-volume applications that are easily tailored to facility needs.

Pick modules integration of pallet flow and push back storage to move palletized loads which feed into Carton Flow units which are often outfitted with special software for paperless picking. This flow rack concept allows distribution operations to be consolidated into one facility which handles all of the logistics and has a dramatic effect on lowering fulfillment costs.

Beam capacity depends on the beam model, length, connector and load distribution. Frame capacity depends on upright design, frame depth, bracing, unsupported column length and the spacing of beam levels. Use manufacturer or engineer-approved capacity information for the complete configuration.
Industrial pallet rack is generally anchored to a suitable concrete slab according to the approved design, manufacturer requirements and applicable code. Anchor type, embedment and location are project-specific.
Employees should report damage as soon as it is observed, with regular documented inspections performed at intervals appropriate to traffic, impacts and risk. A qualified person should evaluate questionable damage.
