TEARDROP SAMMONS PALLET RACK BEAMS
Sammons structural pallet rack beams and roll formed step beams. Some of the beam lengths we have are 96", 106", 108", 120" and 144".The capacity of these beams depend on a few factors including beam height, and upright column design.

TEARDROP SAMMONS PALLET RACK UPRIGHTS
Sammons pallet rack uprights have a large teardrop hole pattern. They are typically gray in color, with uprightdepths ranging from 24" to 48". Seismic footplate's are typical for all storage racks over 8' tall. Column gage and dimensions will help determine overall storage capacity.

**Sammons style uprights and beams are no longer manufactured, if you are looking for compatible replacement racks you can contact us about locating used Sammons racking or pallet racks that have been duplicated in a similar style.

Common customer questions

Questions about Sammons Pallet Rack

These answers provide a starting point. Final equipment, capacity, layout and installation requirements must be confirmed for the specific facility and application.

How is pallet-rack capacity determined?

Beam capacity depends on the beam model, length, connector and load distribution. Frame capacity depends on upright design, frame depth, bracing, unsupported column length and the spacing of beam levels. Use manufacturer or engineer-approved capacity information for the complete configuration.

Do pallet racks need to be anchored?

Industrial pallet rack is generally anchored to a suitable concrete slab according to the approved design, manufacturer requirements and applicable code. Anchor type, embedment and location are project-specific.

How often should pallet rack be inspected?

Employees should report damage as soon as it is observed, with regular documented inspections performed at intervals appropriate to traffic, impacts and risk. A qualified person should evaluate questionable damage.
